HK Trip – Day 1 (Part 2)

baiklah bersambung…rasanya letak gambar je lah banyak2 he he senang nak bercerita ewah 🙂

ohoh sebelum apa2 alas perut dulu ye…takut tak terjumpa mknn halal hehe

Kowloon Mosque
ada kesah la pasal kompas ni.kami mmg tersangatla yakin boleh cari arah kiblat nanti.maka hanya bawak kompas sahaja.sudahnya sampai2 hotel, nak solat jama’ gugel punye gugel koordinat HK tak terjumpa.siap nak tgk map ni tgk arah tapi masalahnya hotel yang kami tinggal tu tak appear dlm map.jadi keputusannya adalah pergi solat kat masjid Kowloon dengan membawa kompas dan tentukan koordinat dari situ.hehe fhm ke?fhm kot eh.yang besnye masjid ni terletak betul betullllll sebelah dgn stesen Tsim Sha Tsui, exit A1 kalau tak silap.exit2 ni mmg payah nak hafal he he.kne tgk signboard…maka kami pun bergerakla ke sana… 🙂

ni rupa depan masjid tuh.ramai indonesian and pak2 mak2 dik2 arab kat sini.tade pulak nmpk local ppl hmm

semua signage dwibahasa.baguss…

masjid ni besar jugaklah dan terletak betul2 kat centre, yakni Kowloon.mcm biasa, msjd ni ada sekali dengan islamic centre.mana2 negara pun kalau kita nak cari muslim nak tanya psl halal food ke apa, carilah msjd dan islamic centre nye.okeh?dan kalau nak cari restoran2 arab carilah area masjid ni.dan juga daging2 roti2 halalan toyyibann…. 😉

lokasinya di sepanjang nathan road yang sangaaaaaaaaaaaaat panjang.kat sepanjang jln ini juga ada banyak designer boutiques 🙂

okeh, setel misi solat jama’ dan juga mencari arah kiblat (hik hik) maka kami pun meneruskan la perjalanan ke puncak HK!

The Peak dan Madame Tussauds

tempat ni terletak di Hong Kong Island.maknanya boleh naik MTR atau naik feri.kali ni kami nak naik MTR je sebab takut tersesat karang tak sempat nak naik sebelum gelap.maka kami pun merentasi lautan dari Kowloon island(centre) ke HK island (selatan).

dari Tsim Sha Tsui ke Central!macam biasa, ambil exit YG BETUL ke arah Peak Tram Terminus

oh tak sampai lagi ke?jalan lagi ye… 🙂

fuh sampai pun.dkt 15mins jugak le jalan dari stesen tadi hu hu.ni apehal penyek lak gambo ni ha ha.ok i malas nak ekjas kira boleh la ye hoho

we got this combo tix for HK180/pax – for Peak Tram Ride and Madame Tussauds..utk Sky Terrace orang tu tak galakkan sebab masa kitorang naik tu foggy sangat.tak nampak apa2..so dia kata dah sampai atas nanti pun boleh beli jugak tiket utk ke Sky Terrace…

kami pun naikla tram tersebut.ala2 naik bukit bendera.teringat masa kecik2 dulu hu hu.kat sini, ramai orang naik malam sebab nak tengok night view dari puncak.masa kami naik tu pun dah nak dekat senja.maka cun cun je lah…kat puncak tu pulak ada wax house, yang ada patung lilin hero heroin holiwud dan HK dan ‘ramai’ lagi.dan sapa2 yang suka kumpul barang2 Hard Rock Cafe pun kat sini lah tempatnya.ada shoping kompleks dsbg.bayangkan tinggi2 tuh diorang leh buat mcm2 bangunan lagi kat atas tuh.shoping kompleks tu saje dekat 10 tingkat tingginya.wahhh..

dalam tram.kalau tak silap tram ni beroperasi semenjak tahun 1800.maseh tip top.mebi pernah buat refurbish kowts..hmm

haaaaaaa tinggi kannn…macam pavilion pun ada ho ho

ok jom masuk madame tussauds!

dalam ni ada banyak patung2 lilin.kadang tengok mcm seram jugak sebab real sungguh.dan ada jugak video di sebalik penghasilan patung2 ni.alkisahnya dia akan amik gambar artis ni pada setiap angle.warna rambut,warna mata,saiz bebola mata(!),kedut sana sini,struktur tulang dsbg semua diambil kira untuk buat patung lilin ni.mmg komplikated la i ckp u ;p

pelakon winter sonata.haha apetah nama dia yg pasti adik i minat pelakon2 korea nihh.eh ke jepun.errr ;P

ye begitulah.biasa sahaja.tak teruja pun.agaknya yg kat london etc tuh sama je macam ni kot.tapi mungkin besar lagi dan takde pelakon2 HK.sini byk juga patung pelakon HK yg tak dikenali pung.hoho

maka setelah itu kami pun sambung berjalan dan berdating.tak pergi pun sky terrace sebab sangat2 berkabus.naik tram dan turun dari The Peak…jalan2 kat luar pastu nampak org beratur panjang nak naik bas.iye,mereka kat sini sgt berhemah.takde nye men tolak2.beratur eloook je.mungkin sebab sistem nye yg efisien dan frequent..

rupanya bas tu utk pergi ke Star Ferry Pier, utk naik feri ke Kowloon.kami pun apa lagi.ikut la beratur juga..try naik feri pulak he he

naik bas la pulak ye.harga kalau tak silap hk4/head.blh pakai octopus card! 🙂 bas nye bersih sgtt

waaaaaaaaaa teruja tgk bandar HK di waktu mlm.mmg meriah.mmg tak lokek letrik.suma lampu dipasangnye heh

cuma HK2.50 (equiv RM1) shj utk naik feri ini.ye,blh pakai octopus card juge.mungkin murah kerana feri merupakan antara pengangkutan yang kerap digunakan oleh msyrkt HK.utk seberang ke pulau2..

sampai2 kowloon,jalan2, amik2 gambar suasana malam dan pulang ke hotel bila kaki sudah sakit dan perut sudah lapar dan badan sudah busuk.pakai baju tu dari kat malaysia kot ha ha

ye,bawak la periuk nasi utk penjimatan sejagat he he

HK Trip – Day 1

it all happen when i had this travel bug few months back.apparently there was mas low fares happening so being me, the budget minister of the house,i drafted out iteneraries and the expenses and voila!flight tix pun booked.hehe.where to?we agreed and chose orient country this time, hong kong – considering the relatively cheap fare, no time diff, no jetlag, shortflight and roller coasters!he he.btw we get 2 return tix KLIA-HKG RM1508 nett.quite a bargain,huh?initially i proposed for the anniv weekends itself but my husband said that’ll be school holiday and byk kenduri kahwen maka we settle for the week before the anniv.wah melompat i sebab bajet i diluluskan oleh incik PM ;p

then we closed the topic we didnt talked about the trip AT ALL until a week before the trip which was end of last month!weirdo kan?

so we did all the booking and reservation a week before ie disneyland,ocean park, hotel.oh also tukar duit and leave application hoho..alhamdulillah everything went well except that the hotel was a bit far from the town since all famous (cheap) hotel already fully booked T.T

i also bought this travel guide c/w map and MTR (mcm lrt) route inside.maka menstadilah kami agar perjalanan lebih bermakna dan tidak sesat.hoh, mau nye tak sesat,sangat tipu haha.ade la sesat eh nanti i cite

parking@KLIA
our flight was on the 4th, 9.15 am.woke up as early as 5am and get ready.by 7am we already at KLIA, checked in.

btw we parked our car at long term parking area that costs us RM144 for 4 days.the parking area is only applicable for duration of more than 3 days only.note that.we find it cheaper coz taking cab will costs us rm100/trip -> not good.tu tak tambah surcaj sebelum jam 6pg.terkoyak poket..huhu

MAS satellite lounge
ok so we headed to the lounge which is the one located at international departure building.

the lounge is basically for first class and business class traveler only but i got the 2 pass using my enrich miles.it costs me 16,000 miles for the vouchers.

there was a drama behind this.i actually redeemed 2 vouchers back in dec.apparently the vouchers posted to my mom’s at shah alam and those vouchers hilang ok!that costs me 16,750 miles, 750 tu for postage.initially i redeemed to use my miles thats about to expired.end up i have to use another 16k to get new vouchers.kali ni saya pi redeem kat enrich ofis saje.fuh,geram.memang sayang la miles tuh tapi nak wat camno takdak rejeki huhuh.and we just want to kill the time before boarding..so we had breakfast,

camwhoring,wifiing,newspapering and phonecalling….

4 hours.it was my first mas international economy flight experience.the aircraft was slightly bigger from the domestic aircraft.tak sebesar yang pi london la ie ada double decker etc.and…yay ada inflight entertainment 🙂 wp sebenarnya takdelah tgk sgt pun.tgk one muvie ni halfway.pastu tgk one tv series halfway jgk

pastu tido.while my husband played game the whole time.he he.they served brunch in the middle

HKIA – tickets

touched down at almost 1pm.get our bags and off to buy train tix to hotel.we bought 2 tix ie airport express (HKIA – Tsing Yi, HK90 for 2pax) and octopus card(HK150 each)

oh we loove the octopus card.the function is similar to our touch n go but way better.why?bcoz when u use octopus, the MTR fare is reduced by 5-10%.and, very convenient as we can use the card to ride bus, ferry and even utk main tikam2 kat themepark.LOL.from the HK150, HK100 is the topup, and HK50 is the card.u can get back the HK50 and all remaining balance inside the card with only HK7 charge, cool huh?touch n go mana de wat gini he he

oh and the MTR – ada approx 8 looong coaches

panjang sangat.dan sentiasa ada penumpang.the public transports in HK are VERY reliable!

located only 5mins walking distance from Prince Edward MTR station

kami adalah sesat sebab kami baru perasan MTR station ni byk exit!!one station has almost 10 exits.so if you go to the wrong exit then you have to go all the way inside and find the correct one.yeah that was what happened to us..

not cool coz we were carrying our luggage and some of the exit doesnt come with escalator.fuh bepeluh2 angkut beg huhu.plus, it was raining a bit sabarjelah.ok the hotel,

costs us RM780 for 3 nights.not bad huh.the room rates are around that so terima je lah seadanya.the room is around 15′ x 8′.aha that small.dah la ada 2 katil single lak tuh haha!we requested to change the room to double bed but no room available.so layan~ kemas2 barang and siap2 untuk berjalan2 ke puncak HK! 🙂

fuh lama tak jenguk blog.banyak pulak komen2 spam wujud yg datang tah dari mana haha

apepun, mari kita semak carta(sebut carta banyak2 kali rasa cam pelik kan?kan?) bulan feb,

ACD

alhamdulillah i did better than the last time. tho frankly i regretted that i did that great.u know, the feeling of going to fly freely without the senior anymore.what do u expect.when u already acrossed the border, u r no longer e1 and everything will be different.am not sure whether am such a drama or what but it really2 makes me wonder.tak puas lagi cakap ‘saya tak tahu,nanti saya cek dgn senior’.ok to tell u the truth, i was among who was offered for an early reassessment this coming June-Aug to close all my gaps and yeah naik e2.but i keep on planning to not close all and leave few so that i can have another one pleasant year as e1.haha.yeah me not mentally ready for this..even husben dah penat brainwash huhu.sorry,still not ready just yet.huhuuu

WHAT DOESN’T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER

a week before the assessment i just figured out that my nightmare almost 5 yrs ago is now back and ‘kicking’.yeah the tumor.but the doctor at the clinic mention something about endometriocyst coz i told her about my period pain and all.i was given a referral letter to meet gynae at prince court.since the acd was just a week away so i decided to fix the appointment date after the assessment huhu
and so,being the curious yours truly, i googled about the thingy and before i get the explanation by the doctor, i already have the whole picture ie whats the worst case, what kind of surgery, how it happens etc etc.i even told my better half about it from a to z nak make sure he really understand why so and so.i rasa i dah jadi gynae dah time tu explain kat my hubby macam dia yg patient.haha
so yeah few days after the acd i met the gynae, dr tan. she asked about my surgery back in 2005 and i told her everything ie 13cm ovarian cyst, anemic, thalasemic carrier, period pain, took ponstan during period,trying to get pregnant etc.she said that i have a ‘fantastic’ history.haha.well then she did ultrasound,pap smear and blood test on me.so yeah the tumor is back.now with 5cm size!surprisingly i was relatively soo calm, well compare dengan drama menangis masa 13cm dulu.huhu
she diagnosed me and yeah bulls eye, sebijik macam yang i google seminggu sebelum tu.weird, i was like “ha,kann betul..” sambil pandang hasben saya.hepi sebab selfdiagnose sama macam doctor.lol.i told dr tan that i took ponstan only once then was afraid of the side effect.then she asked me, so apa yang u tak takut.n i said surgery!!mesti doc tu rasa i kurang siuman(wow lama tak guna perkataan ni).tapi siyes cakap,takda perasaan yang lebih lega selain perasaan lepas surgery.walopon sakit.huhu.oh eniwei when i answered that (without consulting my husband), she ckp emm i guess i give u few days to think over then next week u tell me your decision.actually my plan was to have the surgery the very next day coz i just want to get overwith.tapi suami i ckp, “takpelah.kita blk fikir dulu.cite kat mak n abah”.then i agreed.haha.tak nyempat2
so we discussed.we actually planned a trip this coming march.flight booked back in oct.so we have to wait after the trip sebab if i go for surgery in feb, we might have to forget the trip and flight tix burnt.so the surgery will be in mid march, a week after we’re back from the trip,inshaallah.

THE TRIP

its going to be in early march.we named it 2^nd honeymoon/early anniv celebration.ok ngada2.full stop haha

NEW ANAK BUAHS

see the plurals?yeah my kaklong and kakngah both pregnant!kakngah nya due date a week earlier than kaklong’s.happy for em.diorang ajak join the club but i said,”inshaallah doakan”.jawapan stended hehe

so that’s about it, the highlights of my February.nothing much pun.n am so looking forward to march..the trip,the anniversary and the surgery.wah rhyme.. 😛

jom mandi sungai!

sabtu baru ni saya dan keluarga belah suami pergi piknik dan mandi sungai.hoho.agak spontan juga plan ni sebab baru bincang2 sehari sebelum.plan asal pun cuma kami sekeluarga dan keluarga pakteh.tapi petang jumaat tu pakteh berjaya pujuk tok dan tokwan dan keluarga pakndak kat lumut untuk join sekali.maka makin ramaila yang join.ape tu org puteh kata, “the more the merrier”.gitu 🙂

pagi sabtu tu ke pasar mencari bahan2 nak memasak.lauk utama adalah ayam percik, sambal udang petai, tomyam campur dan lauk2 sampingan.maka memasak la kami dari jam 9pg camtu sampai kul 12noon.rombongan dari lumut pun dah sampai maka kami pun memulakan perjalanan ke air itam, batu kurau.lebih kurang setengah jam dari taiping…

ada gak la tragedi lawak sebab masing2 dah beriye nak membakar ayam dan ikan tapi boleh tak takda sapa teringat nak bawak fire starter dan plg kelakar,lighter/mancis!mana nak dapat api kan.masing2 semangat tapi benda penting boleh lupa.maka kami pun singgah ke kedai runcit kat batu kurau tu beli brg2.nasib baik ada.kalau tak ada jugak yang kena gosok batu sampai keluar api hoho

ok tetiba macam malas nak cerita semua.layan gamba saje ye 🙂

ni masa baru sampai.yang kanak2 dah hilang ke sungai dah.i ingat nak join jugak tapi kena jadi sedar diri sikit.well 😛

oke.maka menolong makndak membuat air

lepak2 sambil borak2 sementara tunggu makanan siapp 🙂

beginilah cara2 membuat ayam percik ye.hehe.ayam tu dah masak dah kat rumah.tinggal bakar je kasi ada rasa asap,bak kata suami hehhe

maka saya pun mengacah2 mahu menolong makteh membasuh pinggan di bawah sambil suami kenyit mata ajak turun mandi haha.so tolong makteh basuh pinggan dan saya tak keluar dari air sampai la kena panggil sebab tok dan tokwan dah nak balik huhuhuuuuuu.tak puasssss

so thats about it.faktor yang membuatkan perkelahan di sungai bes adalah;

1. ada geng mandi yang sporting
2. tak ramai orang
3. kawasan yang bersih dan luas
4. air yang dalam dan deras dan jernih
5. cuaca yang mengizinkan
6. bilik persalinan yang selesa

alhamdulillah semua faktor di atas menyebelahi kami.cuma yang no 6 tu ada agak kureng sedikit.tapi at least ada bilik terlindung huhu.well elok kami naik dari sungai,cuaca dah mula mendung.elok sampai rumah,hujan pun turun.timing memang baek betul la hoho

apa pun memang terubat rasa rindu mandi sungai.kali terakhir mandi sungai beriya2 dah bertahun2 kot.rasa macam kembali ke alam kanak2 pun ada hehhee…

alhamdulillah…

p/s : inshaallah kalau ada peluang nak bawak family shah alam pun datang sini.time kat sana asik teringat kat derang huhu.tetibe emo huhu

europe trip – part 4 (hola barcelona)

esok paginya,seawal jam 4pg kami bertolak ke stesen bas di porte maillot utk menaiki bas terus ke lapangan terbang beauvais,paris.kami naik ryanair,penerbangan murah untuk negara2 eropah.tiket pergi balik paris-barcelona adalah EUR71.81 nett.kira beauvais ni mcm LCCT,ryanair pulak mcm airasia.gitu

sue tergelabah sebab dia mendapati pouch dia yang berisi duit dan pasport hilang.dah la yg bestnya masa tu dah dlm bas.tinggal 2-3 penumpang je belum naik.pelagi,kitorang pun tumpang gelabah sekaki.siap dah pk ni – kalau tak jumpa kita batalkan je trip ni pastu stay paris lg 2mlm.haha.gelabah tak gelabah kan.lepas mcm cemas 5minit tu,jumpa pouch tu.misplace rupanya.agaknya matsaleh2 atas bas tu pun hilang ngantuk tgk drama kitorang kecoh2.heh

masa nak cek-in.tak pulak kami sangka yang boleh tahan ketat jugak sistem dia.kalau saiz beg 16″ x 22″ x 6″ haa kena la folo.kalau beg tak fit maka kena la ekjas sampai fit saiz tu.handcarry pun satu beg je sorang.kalau bwk sling dgn backpack dikira 2.so dekat sejam jugak proses menyumbat dan ekjas2 beg semuaorang.nasib baik kitorang orang yg pertama cek in.huhu.bukak la luggage dgn megi baju busuk sume heeee.main alih2 ikut beg mana muat.comel kitorg

masa nak lalu kat x-ray.barisan saya dan sue ok.tapi chura dan tasha dpt barisan tak berapa ok – makgad tu suruh buka tudung.takcukup tanggal jaket,kasut,stokin.tapi mujur makgad tu bwk masuk bilik dia dulu huhu.kalau kat public mau kami tulis surat ke ‘Surat kepada Pembaca’.ada makgad kesah?sudah tu mereka berdua pun mengomel2 sbb tak adil sy dan sue tak kena mcm tu heh

permulaan yg agak janggal dan aneh disitu

jadi kami pun terbang mcm biasa.bertolak jam 9pg,sampai dekat jam 11pg.kapatebang tak penuh.byk tempat kosong.depan tempat duduk kami ada sekumpulan budak sekolah.yang kelakarnya,bila berjaya landing je,diorang tepuk tangan dgn gemuruh jugak la.motif tidak dpt dipastikan.barangkali ini pertama kali pergi lawatan sambil belajar di sepanyol heheh…

kami ambil bas dr airport ke stesen bas bandar.cuaca sedikit terik dari di paris.suhu masih di bawah 15degC.maka kami memang tanggal wintercoat dan pakai jaket biasa sahaja.kalau tak mmg berpeluh2 la huhu.ye,sebelum merantau negara org,cek dulu suhunya.takut ter over atau ter under dress pulak.gitu.

kami book AAE Hostel Subirats untuk 2mlm.total lebih kurang EUR20 perheadpernight.hostel ni terletak lebih kurang 10minit berjalan kaki dari stesen bas..

bukan hendak memburuk2kan.tetapi 2 perkara yang kami perasan sesampai disini adalah – majoriti mereka tak faham english berbanding org perancis.maka kamus kami sgt berguna disini.huhu.yg ke2 pula adalah bandar mereka agak kurang bersih.taik burung sana sini dan anjing2 kencing dan berak di tgh jln..kitorang pernah saksikan acara pembuangan secara lansung lg.huhu.cemas2.ok 2 dulu.byk lg lepas ini

keadaan luar hostel takde rupa hostel.tak semeriah di Le Village.sunyi je.dari luar kelihatan tangga naik ke atas.that’s it.so interkom2,pintu dibuka,sy dan sue naik ke atas.yg lain jaga beg.ohoho kami ckp ayam itik diselangseli dgn bhs isyarat semasa berkomunikasi dgn tuan hostel.makcik umur 60+ camtu.tgk dia dan family dan rumah dia teringat telenovela spt lausurpadora dan mariamercedez.selesai aktiviti yg sy kira agak aneh tu,kami pun dibawa ke bilik….

bilik alhamdulillah bersih kemas dan selesa.ada satu queen bed,satu doubledecker,satu bilik air dan satu almari.kami pun lepak2,baring2,main iPod sue(ada wifi ok.klass),dan tiba2,

“korang,lapar la…cerek takde eh”

“jap aku pi tanya mamat kat luar tu”

ptg tu kami siap2 utk berjalan2 lg.kami dah sepakat untuk take our own sweet time di barcelona.maklumla,3 hari di paris sgt padat dan memenatkan..

stesen metro dekat je dgn hostel.jln tak sampai 5minit.sempat la singgah kedai runcit beli air mineral sambil ditipu pakcik peniaga.sungguh malang

di stesen metro tu,kami diingatkan oleh pak cik kat situ yg berjalan2 di bandar tu kena jaga beg.byk pencopet.mungkin dia nmpk kami selamba bawak backpack di blkg dan slingbag yg expose.mula di saat itu,kami dilanda kecuakan melampau.terus jadi terlebih berhati2.muka takleh sorok rasa tak secure.kami dok kepit je beg masing2 huhu

balik ke bilik,ada cerek.kitorang ingat tuan hostel bg.rupanya abg John belikan baru punya.maka chura pun terjatuh chenta…haha!jadi malam tu kami bersungguh masak makan malam seperti di bawah.nikmatnya,alhamdulillah~

dari kiri : falafel dan roti lebih petang tadi, kombinasi brahim2, pisang, koleksi maggi buatan malaysia.sila perhatikan lapik terdiri daripada selimut gulf air dan juga peta paris.hehe

europe trip – part 3 (disneyland)

ok now.Disneyland;)

it was chura’s idea

i was reluctant at first.i dont fancy cartoons so that explains why.sue and tasha didn’t mind.rationally because we only hav 3 full days at Paris and i can’t find the reason why we should waste one whole day and EUR52(!) going to this childish place ha ha.expensive huh?but being the understanding friend that I am(masuk bakul jap), I agreed (ok angkat bakul).we were travelling in a group so majority rulez ;P

after all the drama (again,yours truly), in dec we bought the one day pass online – ada new year off.we got EUR52/head and believe me,it was a bargain!the tix price was actually EUR60 if u buy at the entrance itself.so kira jimat dalam RM40.banyak tu heh

we woke up soooo early that 27th Jan morning.mmg tiap pagi kul 5am dah takleh tido sebab mlm pjg sgt heee.we wanted to make sure that we arrive there just in time the gate bukak haha.mahal oh tiket tu.seminit pun takleh rugi.aci? 🙂
we took metro at Anvers and head to Nation to change from RER B(blue line to RER A(red line).the RER gerabak is a way bigger than metro’s and the system is quite complicated.we asked few local ppl just to confirm that we are heading to the Disneyland instead of to the other end hehe.

so cut the story short,we arrived the station(Marne-la-Valle) 9.00am and we were just few steps away from the main entrance,alhamdulillah 🙂 it was raining a bit tho

at 10am sharp,we went to the gate and the guard scanned our printed black and white tickets(thanks sue!) and off we begin our journey inside the theme park.we were a bit lost at first.so we took the “Guide to the Parks” leaflet and off we go.siap teramik yang french nya map.baca2 tak faham.rupanya ada english version.bimbo sungguh

DISNEYLAND PARK

so kami pun study map macam biasa.there are 4 Lands ie Frontierland, Adventureland, Fantasyland and Discoveryland. the main entrance is the MainStreet USA

we begin with the Frontierland.as mutually agreed, we focused on the “Big Thrills” and “What not to miss” first.then if time permits, we’ll proceed with the “Family Adventures” and “Fun with Lil Ones”.heheh

FRONTIERLAND

Big Thunder Mountain – superb.we all terhantuk2 like nobody cares.but the ride really awesome.almost similar to the Rolling Thunder,the one at genting.kat genting tu tiru kot.heh.they sell the jerit2 pix but we didnt buy it.instead, we snap the pix displayed.lol.masalahnya kenapa dalam gambar ni kitorang(kecuali chura) beriya padahal mat saleh depan tu ala2 berborak lagi.tak puas hati sungguh.huhu

then we had a walk.masa ni hujan macam dah lebat sikit.so kami berjalan2 saje.kabus pun makin tebal.sob

ADVENTURELAND

Pirates of the Caribbean – oh kat sini ada pirates tu.horror gak.mcm real.its a boat ride inside a cave.very dark.then here and there were harta karun and tengkorak.main ni baju basah gak la sebab kadang2 ada splash bagai.tapi best lah.even not that thrill.this one categorized as family adventure.after the ride we took the opportunity to take picture with the pirate.haha

Indiana Jones and Temple of Peril – wah yang ini sangat menakutkan.lebih takut dari yang kat Frontierland tadi.tapi tak sempat snap pulak masa atas ride

FANTASYLAND

if i can still remember, this is the time when all the cartoon characters went out and we can find them almost everywhere.we manage to take picture with some of ’em.some of ’em needs us to queue yadayada and we dont want to waste our time tapi sebenarnya malu sebab yang beratur tu semua makbapak bwk anak2 diorang.

perut pun sudah lapar.energy bar yang bawak semua dah kehabisan.maka kami pun singgah di sebuah cafe yang ramai arab2 masuk.we had fish and chips plus tomato soup.wah sedap sebab dah lama tak makan kenyang.ngeh..

and this fantasyland, we went to the famous Sleeping Beauty Castle, the Alice in the wonderland Labyrinth, the choc cake sweets house, the jack and the beanstalk etc etc you name it.very excited ok.its like i was in my childhood again.kira macam i ni lebih2 pulak padahal aritu beriya takmau pi disneyland heheh.in this ‘land’, most of the rides are for kids.so we just take our own sweet time, went to each famous disney character.plus, we just had our lunch,full stomoch,not advisable to go on thrill rides huhu..

coolness.ohhoho dan disinilah tempat di mana cik aizura kita terkena taik burung!mmg marah betulla.ala darling,bukan selalu nak kena taik burung disneyland.sekali seumur hidup kot.so kami pun take a break la dengan meneman cik ai ke toilet untuk membasuh ‘hasil buangan’ tersebut.huhu.marah sungguh cik ai 😛

DISCOVERYLAND

selingan : so we head to perform our zuhr-asr prayer.truth is,its always a challenge when you have to perform solah in this/any non-muslim friendly country(read:no room/surau/musollah).but alhamdulillah,despite this, we managed to perform each solah anywhere,everywhere ie on the boat, at the airport corridor(amik sudut sikit lah) etc etc.yang penting,bawak kompas sekali.dan alas yang bersih.there was once we use the map to be the sejadah.takpalah,yang penting kewajipan sebagai seorang muslim tidak diabaikan inshaallah

since our food already digested(partially),so we resume our thrill rides here, which are (drum roll);

1. Space Mountain : Mission 2 – ok this is the most thrillest bestest ride i’ve ever ride on in my whole life.spinning, rocket powered,twisted body,everything.all 4 of us queued up but when we almost there, 2 of us surrendered.they cant stand the jerit2 they heard which sounds horror.so they both wait outside.while me and tasha experienced the most adrenalin rush ride everrr.recommended to those who love adventure.suka sangat.rasa macam nak q dan naik lagi tapi hari pun dah petang huhuhu

2. Star Tours – masuk ramai2 duduk dalam bilik kemudian ada 3D nye show,lepas tu tempat duduk tu bergerak2 ikut 3D tuh.best jugak la.tapi tak thrill sangat.ngeh

3. Naik roket yang pusing tuh.tak ingat lak apa nama ride huhu.mainan kanak2.siap rebut ngan budak2 lagi.tak boleh blah

after we finished with the rides in the Discoveryland, we saw all ppl heading to this one direction.we heard the disney song played.oh its the parade!the disney characters parade!it is called the Disney’s Once Upon a Dream Parade.we were all excited and rushed to the crowd of ppl.we saw thousands of ppl from all over the world.ada jugak malaysians.students kot.tapi who cares.the parade excites us more.we took pictures and videos.there were Sleeping Beauty,Little Mermaid,Beauty and the Beast,Lion King etc etc.

u can find almost all here, in their dedicated ‘car’, following the route.sambil lambai2 gitu.dan miming nyanyi lagu ikut turn kartun masing2.hehe comel ok parade ni.the route started from the Fantasyland and ends at the Mainstreet USA.we waited until the parade is finish to take picture with the characters but NO, WE MISSED THE CHANCE.sebab sepatutnya kami semua amik kesempatan masa kartun2 tu berkeliaran pagi tadi.oh bimbo lagi sekali.maka hampa (terutama chura).takpe,kalau ada rezeki kita gi lagi ye.wuhuuu

WALT DISNEY STUDIOS

its almost dark when we took our step to the disney studios.oh the tix we hav is for both park and studio.the park is much2 smaller than the first one.lesser rides.mainly the park relates to the hollywood movies eg Armageddon, Stitch and Twilight Zone.we had a brief walk and after that,both me and tasha went for…

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror – woosh best jugak.even before the ride, the staff pretend like the hotel is haunted.even all the furnitures covered with dust and spiderweb.just to get the feel of it.then we were brought into an escalator with seats inside.wore our seatbelts.we were facing to the hotel window.the hotel height is around 100 metres high.then the window opens and we were going up and down with high speed – sebijik macam solero space shot yang kat genting tuh.tapi less takut sebab ni dalam lif.space shot tu open hehe

its freezing cold when we head back to our hostel.coz its already 8pm.but we had fun so who cares.kaki mmg sakit toksah cakap lah.memang terlelap lah dalam RER dan metro.but we cant complain much coz we were tooo happy 🙂 we got back, had our ‘malaysian’ maggi+brahim dinner and of course packing!because we have to catch an early flight to barcelona the very next day 🙂

i nearly faint just now

how do you feel when you open your checked in luggage and find something unfamiliar inside.in my case, i found a teddybear!!

i was shocked to death.for almost one minute, i stare at the creature.i tried to recall;

1. i locked my luggage with the combination no.ok but no solex or mangga huhu

2. my valuable things inside the luggage still there ie camera,external harddisk

but how on earth this teddy is in this bag.being the dramaqueen,i think no other than someone wanted to seludup dadah thru my luggage.i cried instantly,still staring at the teddy.i didnt dare to touch.huhu

after i pulled all my strength,i slowly took the teddy.masa tu takut jugak timebomb ke apa kan.isk.then i saw there’s a note….”_ _ _ _ _” ..from the hubby.wah saya sambung nangis.terus takut tadi jadi happy dan terharu.sob..

until now i dont know when on earth he put that thing inside my luggage.in fact i didnt know when he bought the teddy..thanks sayang..love u too T_T

p/s : i still press the teddy’s tummy every now n then.takut betul ada dadah dalam and the note is just a fake one.huuuu drama2

“kg mak ni kg betul.akak mesti tak biasa.kg n9 tu mesti dah bandar kan” mak mertua

“eh kg lagi mak” suami

saya senyap saja.mengiya tidak.menidak pun tidak.malam hitam pekat.sambil kereta persona hitam kami melusuri jalan sempit di kg ayah dan mak mertua saya.di baling,kedah.nama kg saya tak sempat khatam.he hee

dalam hati “ala.kg mcm kat tampin kot.tak byk beza”

tapi sebetulnya mak mertua dah ingatkan yang rumah tok besar dan kurang terjaga.maklumlah,orang tua tinggal berdua tak daya nak buat semua kerja

rumah tok abah dan tok mak hanya 15minit je jauhnya.sepelaung.kami pulang ke kg tok belah mak dulu..

sampai kurang lebih jam 10pm.memang rumahnya paling hujung.lepas2 tu dah takda rumah.masuk kami disambut makwa dan tok.dan ada beberapa lagi saudara mara.tokwan dan pakdin belum pulang dari rumah saudara yang kematian anak.itu kisah lain

sememangnya rumah tok besar.macam mak ckp.kemudian bilik tak banyak lebih byk ruang lapang dari bilik.betul la kg…aktiviti permulaan adalah melantak durian dan rambutan.yum2..

dari dapur saya dengar air dlm bilik air tidak berhenti mengalir.beberapa kali jugak saya terdetik kenapa mereka biar saja air mengalir.tup tup

saya masuk bilik air tu,rasa taknak keluar.bes ok.air sejuk macam air sungai.tapi dah lewat saya tak mandi pun.siap2 untuk makan,makan,kemas2 dan kemudian tido.lambak.takla berapa lambak.tapi sebab tido tanpa bilik saya kata lambak lah kan.he he

pagi2 subuh2 saya siap nak mandi.tak sabar weh nak rasa mandi air sungai tapi dalam toilet.ha ha.so mandi lah lalala.best sgt.keluar2 je mak n tok terkejut sebab saya mandi.sebenarnya tak tahan sebab tak mandi semalam.tu yang balas dendam tu.sejuk2 mcm tu mandi air bukit yang sejuk memang menambah rasa segar.terbeliak mata i ;p

lepas solat subuh,ke dapur.tengok apa yang boleh di makan tolong.makwa dah buat laksa kedah.saya n mak buat nasi goreng dan pulut cicah santan+durian.kemudian sarapan besarrrr!dan secara rasminya jumlah kenaikan berat kumulatif : 2kg.tahniah kpd saye

usai sarapan,teman mak+abah ke rumah saudara yang kematian anak dlm 5minit dari rumah tok.saya punyalah bagus tak bawak baju kurung.pakaila jeans dan blouse.dengan harapan ada orang yang akan pakai attire seperti saya.tekaan saya meleset(wah mcm karangan sekolah rendah).semua berbaju kurung.aduh.segan yaamat.dahlah mak introduce saya sebagai menantu yada yada.ahh rasa macam nak balik kl amik baju kurung time tu jugak.huuu.pengajaran yg saya dapat,kalau balik kg,pastikan bawa sekurang2nya sepasang baju kurung.untuk masa kecederaan.huhu.nsb baik mak kool je.ala suami pun pakai t-shirt dan jeans.ye,sebab saya yg packingkan baju T_T..apapun takziah buat keluarga arwah syafiq.moga arwah tenang di sana.al-fatihah

pulang sambung memasak lagi.eh lupa.sebelum tu makan laksa pg td lagi 3 round dgn ‘bantuan’ suami saya.menu tghari adalah ulam2an,sambal tempoyak,ikan goreng,pekasam goreng,tomyam,gulai ikan tongkol.wahhh..saya makan bertambah.takleh tahan ok makanan kampung ni.dan secara rasminya jumlah kenaikan berat kumulatif : 5kg.tahniah lg kpd saye

sebelah petang tu kami bersiap2 untuk ke rumah tok belah abah pula.ala 15minit je.kalau jalan kaki sejam pun tak sampai.ok exagerrate.maknanya dekat la.he he.sampai2 ada tok,tokwan,maksu dan paksu.kecewa sebab pakteh dan family takda.sebab hari sebelum tu dah beriye plan nak pi berkelah kat sungai belakang.ye,dekat ngan rumah tok ada sungai.suami kata selalu mandi berkelah kat situ.saya yang dah lama tak mandi sungai ni teruja bagai kan.sekali plan dibatalkan sebab orang kuat takda.hampa sungguh.takpa la.lainkali inshaallah 🙂

oh,rumah tok abah ni pun besar.halaman nya penuh dengan pokok2 bunga dan pokok2 buah.memang terjaga.kira tak de lah lalang menganggu sepanjang pencarian/penjolokan rambutan etc.ada pokok rambutan, dokong, kedondong, cili api, serai, bunga kantan, daun kunyit, limau, serai, dan banyak sangat lagi.kira kalau nak masak tak perlu pergi pasar.reban ayam pun ada.memang mana2 kg pun macam tu kot kan.senang duduk kg.he he

malam tu masak2 dan makan2.tapi malam ni tak tidur lambak.kami yang pnantin baru ni(perasan :P) tok bg bilik.mekasih tok!haha

bilik air kat rumah tok ni separa open.makanya, perlu pastikan line clear dan at least ‘mandi secara tertutup’. yelah,masuk kandang kambing mengembek kan.eh tak,saya tak masuk kandang kambeng.aduh.kamu faham,kan;p tapi best la.pengalaman baru menjadi budak kampung.hik2

selesai sarapan, kami memulakan operasi mengait buah2an.saya tak mengait lah.tengok dari bawah je.eh lupa,saya cuba jugak mengait.tapi bila yang jatuh 2-3 je saya tarik diri.hehe.yang lelaki pergi dusun tok kat dangau mengait manggis.dusun tu belakang rumah.dlm jln kaki 5minit gitu.saya pulak pegi explore mini dusun kat halaman rumah tok.byk juga lah penemuan.antaranya saya cilok cili api.yang amat memalukan adalah,saya telah memotong tangkai pokok cili api tu dengan agak banyak dan petik cili dari tangkai tersebut.tok dan mak telah menjerit dan gelak2 seperti berikut

“eh awat potong lagu tu” tok

“ni baru cucu sulung tok oi..” mak

dengan slang utagha nya.ha ha.malunya saya.maaf,sila beri tunjuk ajar.peace!;p kalau cucu kedua ketiga etc dpt yg bandar macam saya ni memang togel lah pokok tok.lalala

sebelah petang kami penuhkan boot kereta dengan buah2an termasuk durian.yes,tell me about the smell.wuhuu.kami pulang ‘melalui’ alor setar.melawat keluarga paklang di sana.ye,maklang telah memasak sambal udang,ikan lemak cili api,sambal tempoyak,petai,ayam goreng rempah,kuih cara etc.dan secara rasminya jumlah kenaikan berat kumulatif : 7kg.tahniah lg dan lg untuk saya T_T

pulang lepas asar dan tiba di taiping jam 10pm.kemudian uruskan buah2 dan kereta yang berbau buah.ha ha

saat2 genting

ok.my body parts hurt so bad.coz we spent our whole day yesterday here…

yezza,genting highlands!:)

it was ad-hoc actually.at 6 am my better half woke me up several times and asked me to take my bath.i was like “mandi ape pagi2 buta ni yang“.normally on weekends, we’ll perform subuh then have an extra sleep afterwards.so the fact that he kept on bugging me with bangun3 and bangun on saturday morning, quite confusing. then finally he muttered, “nak gi genting tak…“.terus mata buntang oke.so after all the drama thank u i love u semua,we perform subuh,take bath and only that very moment we started googling etc.hehe.seeing the options, we decided not to buy tickets online ie skyway+theme park tix.

at approx 8am, we departed and had our breakfast.we missed the skyway exit hence no cable car for us.T_T.but i quote my husband, “takpe,ada alasan nak naik genting lagi” so i smiled.huahuahua.okeh,we reached genting—first world hotel parking to be exact, at 9.30am.yup, less than an hour hence no solat jama’ like usual.he he.oh the good thing about genting now is the u can find the suraus nearby.u can find one beside the ‘flying dragon’ ride, one beside the ‘space shot’ ride and the usual one in the first world hotel itself.

ok.we parked our car.the parking is free,mind u.so yay:) we went straight to the ticket counter and bought our all-day-unlimited-ride-outdoor pass.at first we plan to take the express pass(which is 50% more expensive from the normal tix) however considering that the pass cant be used for certain rides esp space shot, oh and corkscrew was under maintenance(yeah,how sad is that) so we decided to proceed with normal tix.its rm44 per head.for info,they have family package and all park tix as well.

then we proceed to the wristband counter.ada kaunter tuuu.i still remember back in uni days(2003/04 kot) the wristband were given at the entrance.no such counter.oh and there are loads of improvement ie theme park map,new rides,kat tmpt q ada seats,stalls lined up along the walkway be it food or souvenir stalls.sgt mengujakan oke..

fast fwd,here are the rides we rode yesterday(pix left to right)!!

1. cyclone (best3!!)

2. space shot (oh sangatlah suka.since forever.we rode once during the day and once at night.i prefer night ride coz u can see beautiful lights all over genting.supercool.yippie!:))

3. grand prix fun kart (or go-kart.we also rode once during the day and once at night.pun malam lagi bestt hik2)

4. rolling thunder mine train (suka jugak.main screw2.we rode 2 times back to back coz at that time less ppl quieing for this ride)

then it was raining heavily.so we perform our zuhr,had our lunch and perform our ‘asr 🙂

5. antique car (since it was raining heavily outside, only few rides were still operated.this is one of em.and since we just had our late lunch, hence we dont need the ‘vomiting’ rides hua3)

then the rain stopped.alhamdulillah.all were back to normal.yiehaa~

6. spinner (oh maseh suka.wp lebih ramai budak2 dari mak budak)

7. super toboggan (this is with weight restriction.max weight is 72kg.cool sgt.but i think this ride really contribute to my body ache terhentak sini sana *sigh*)

8. flying dragon (we both love this!!recommended!)

9. matahari (ferris wheel laaa.hehe.we rode this just to kill the time and wait for maghrib aka dating sambil tgk sunset.boleh tak;p)

10. flying coaster (wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh suka sangat!!!silalah naik.we paid rm8(per pax) and its totally worth it.the ride is rm12 for non-wristband holder and rm10 for wristband holder.maybe we got rm8 because its already past 7pm)

11. pirate ship – the ship swings back and forth.below pix,3rd from left (this is one of the new rides.categorized as ‘thrill rides’ but NOT so)

overall, we had 12hrs(10am-10pm) fun time on our 3rd monthversary (apekah).quite sad because corkscrew was not in service and we missed the cable car ride.next time maybe *wink kat hubby*

oh anyhoo,here are few tips that you might want to consider if you plan to visit genting;

1. drive up coz u can manage your own time.balik ikut suka, no need to rush for last cable car whatnot.and u can save time coz u bont need to q for the cable car ride(skyway).as i mentioned before,the parking fee is free.plus, if you buy all day unlimited pass, u might want to utilize all your day here.operation hours is 8am-10pm.the tix is quite expensive ok

2. you dont need to purchase the express pass tix as the pass is only applicable for certain rides.totally not worth it

3. if you plan to stay until pm, pls prepare a proper attire. u dont want to get cold that’ll spoil your mood altogether.the temp can reach up to 16degC during pm.kalau naik space shot mau jadik 12degC.supercold huu

4. for ‘specky’ ppl, better you wear your contact lense as some of the extreme rides require u to take off your specs which is soo not cool kan.huuu

5. buy your tix online.much2 cheaper 🙂

6. or you can consider stay in one of the hotels here ;p

well,feel for yourselves and u get what i mean 🙂

am currently here and updating my blog thru the pc provided in the room.yeah u read it rite.in my own room.he he

this is the view from my room.again.why i make this entry?oh because this is one of the coolest (read : bukan coldest ye) hotel room i’ve ever been stayed in.hehe.tho my routine everytime i enter any hotel room will be snap snap snap and snap(well u get wht i mean).but this one is the coolest and i cant help from pasting in my blog.sorry peeps,pc sudah ada apdet saja blog anda kan ;p oh about the pc and free internet access, this is cyberjaya we’re talking about,so… 🙂

the deluxe garden room.there is a balcony out there however since its already maghrib i cant open the curtain hehe.i would recommend this room for honeymooners *wink2*

oh when i walk nearer to the superking size bed, i found these 2 surprises ie a small teddy and 2 green pyramid-shape boxes.i wonder whats inside…hmmmm

the cute bear.never in my life getting a complimentary bear from a hotel.so yay~

oho goodnite wish rupanya.Cybear…how cute!

oh guess what…its a choc!a custom made chocs.cool huh~ sayang nak makan ;p

oh thats about it…me sign off from……

have to check out tomorrow.sad.anyhow,felt very lucky to have the opportunity to stay in this huge hotel room.cool cooler coolest…
