Alhamdulillah sudah hampir 2 minggu kami berlima tiba di bumi Kaherah, Mesir.

Sekadar throwback, ‘kisah’ Cairo ni bermula sejak bulan July 2020 masa tu nama encik suami di nominate utk isi kekosongan jawatan di ofis Cairo. Adui sis pening kepala dah sebab kes covid tgh mencanak masa tu. And i was heavily pregnant. Tapi en suami attend jgk la interview. Ada 2 stages tak silap dan suami kata dia mcm tak konfiden pun dapat. Lepas drp tu senyapp takde berita…

Akhir Ogos 2020 (a month before my edd) it is official that my husband will be moving to Cairo. I was crying bucket as he needs to report at Cairo office as early as a month after – Sept. Emotional rollercoaster took place as we were expecting a newborn anytime soon, we just moved into new house, and he’s going to leave for i dont know how long with covid and all….susah gila nak redha masa ni. Sobs

Cut story short, husband managed to defer his mob to end Oct alhamdulillah. And my mom moved to stay with me&kids. Bless her ya Allah. My mak (and abah) really made everything such a breeze with the transition…

So husband left when our no 3 just turned 2 months. Few videocalls after were full of tears. Just imagine having him around 24-7 during my pregnancy and confinement (thank you WFH), tiba2 dia takde. Fuh…

118days later (Feb 2021) he came back home safe and sound. Allah lah sebaik2 penjaga. Menjaga suami di sana dan menjaga kami di Malaysia…thank you Allah…

Now that we are here in Cairo, new journey, our new chapter in marriage. May Allah ease everything. May Allah protect our kids, our family back home. May this pandemic be over soon. Moga Allah berkati hijrah ini dan berikan suamiku tersayang yg terbaik inshaallah
